WooMe

Terms of Service

WooMe — these terms also serve as the End User License Agreement (EULA) for the WooMe application.

Last updated: August 24, 2026 · Effective: August 24, 2026

By creating a WooMe account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use WooMe.

WooMe is operated by Siyun Peng, an individual developer based in Los Angeles, California, USA ("we", "us"). Contact: support@woome.pet.

1. Who can use WooMe

You must be at least 13 years old. WooMe is not directed to children under 13. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you may use WooMe only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

You need an account. Keep your password to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has gained access, email support@woome.pet immediately.

2. Your content stays yours

You own the photos and text you upload. We do not claim ownership of any of it, and we do not use it to train models, sell it, or show it to anyone you did not choose.

You grant us a limited licence to store your content, process it (resize, compress, generate previews), and display it to you and to the specific people you have invited — and to do so only for the purpose of operating WooMe. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the retention periods in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for what you upload. By uploading, you confirm you have the right to do so.

3. Content rules

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users on WooMe.

WooMe has two very different kinds of space, and the rules differ accordingly. Your own album is private — we cannot see it and we do not look at it. Anything you share travels beyond you, so more rules apply there.

These are rules about what you may do — not a claim that we are watching. We do not scan your private album (Section 3.3 explains exactly what we do and do not do). A rule can exist without surveillance behind it: it defines what is not permitted here, and it is what gives us the standing to remove content and terminate an account at the point we do become aware — through a report, through legal process, through someone you gave access to, or because the content was shared out of your private space.

3.1 Never, anywhere on WooMe

These apply everywhere, including your own private album:

3.2 Additionally, in anything you share

This covers your Collection, your Gallery, images you export or share out of WooMe, and any future feature that shows content to people beyond those you have personally invited:

A deliberate exception. Photographs kept as evidence of cruelty or wrongdoing — for example, so that you can report it to a vet, a shelter, or the authorities — are not a violation. We are not going to punish someone for documenting harm they are trying to stop.

3.3 How this is enforced — and what we do not do

We do not proactively scan, screen, or monitor your private album. There is no automated content analysis of your photos, and no one at WooMe browses them. We built the permission system so that we would not have to, and we would rather tell you that honestly than imply a level of oversight that does not exist.

What this means in practice:

Reporting. Use the report option in the app, or email support@woome.pet.

4. Sharing and privacy between users

WooMe is invitation‑only: nothing you upload is public, and no one can see your pets unless you invite them.

What a shared image actually contains. When you share or export an image out of WooMe, it is a compressed copy — it does not carry the capture time or the approximate location, and it is not the original file. Only you can retrieve your originals, through the export feature in your own account.

What granting a seat really means. Please understand this before you invite someone: anyone who can see a photo can also save it, screenshot it, or show it to someone else. No app can prevent that, and we do not claim to. Revoking a seat stops future access; it cannot recall what someone already saw or saved. Give seats to people you trust.

Please respect other people's albums. If someone invites you to see their pet, do not save, re‑share, or republish their photos without asking.

5. WooMember subscription

WooMe is free to use. WooMember is an optional paid subscription that adds storage, extra pet profiles and seats, original‑quality file retention, and additional gallery templates. Current prices and benefits are shown in the app before you purchase.

Early access pricing. If we have offered you a price described as locked for the lifetime of your subscription, we will honour it: your price will not increase for as long as your subscription remains active and uncancelled.

If your subscription ends, your account returns to the free tier. We will not delete your photos or pet profiles because a subscription lapsed. You may be unable to add new content beyond free‑tier limits until you free up space or resubscribe.

6. What we provide, and what we don't promise

We work hard to keep WooMe running and your memories safe, but we provide the service "as is". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or that it will never lose data.

Please keep your own copies of photos that matter to you. WooMe is a lovely place to keep memories; it should not be the only place they exist.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (US$100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

7. Licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable licence to use WooMe on devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse‑engineer, resell, or redistribute the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

Apple. This agreement is between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for WooMe or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple is a third‑party beneficiary of this agreement and may enforce it against you. If WooMe fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.

8. Ending things

You may stop using WooMe and delete your account at any time from inside the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account).

We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue WooMe. Except where you have seriously violated Section 3, we will give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your data.

Sections 2 (ownership), 6 (liability), and 9 (law) survive termination.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict‑of‑law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer‑protection laws where you live.

10. Changes

If we materially change these terms, we will update the date at the top and notify you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use WooMe afterwards means you accept the new terms.
